EQA timetable for 2010, giving details of the different EQAs available.

Note to participants:  CEQA was set up and funded through the Eurogentest Network of Excellence. This funding is coming to an end in June 2010. In order for the Scheme to be financially viable and continue into the future, we have had to increase the cost of participation slightly. Please note that an annual administration fee of £100 (€110) will be added to your bill. All prices quoted in € are approximate and subject to the prevailing exchange rate)

EQAs offered for 2010:-

AF- Amniotic Fluid (£200/€219)

CVS (Pilot EQA) (£50/€55)

Blood (£200/€219)

Haemato-Oncology (£200/€219)

PGD- Pre-implantation diagnosis - Blastomere (£200/€219)

PGD- Pre-implantation diagnosis - Polar Body (Pilot EQA) (£75/€82)

Microarray/array CGH jointly with EMQN (Pilot  EQA) (free of charge)

On-line EQA involves the online analysis and interpretation of two cases. The online EQA enables you to select appropriate additional tests (e.g. FISH) if required for the reporting of the case. Analytical and interpretive proficiency assessed.

Case Scenario (for PGD only) EQA has two parts - firstly a case scenario involving a workup of FISH probes for a translocation, followed by online analysis of FISH images of Blastomere or Polar Bodies.
