Type of EQA

Online EQA involves the online analysis and interpretation of images and data. The online EQA enables you to select appropriate additional tests (e.g. FISH) if required for the reporting of the case (analytical and interpretive proficiency assessed). Every full EQA consists of two cases.

Validated samples involves the distribution of DNA or cell suspension samples for analysis and interpretation of two cases (technical, analytical and interpretive proficiency assessed). Validated samples are currently restricted to Microarray and Rapid FISH aneuploidy testing.

Pilot EQAs are new EQAs started as pilots to see if they are feasible. Pilot EQAs typically consist of one case and are not scored for performance.

Cost

CEQA operates as a not for profit organisation and EQA charges cover the cost of running the EQA. For a current list of EQA charges please consult the quotes below
