Scheme Co-Ordinator
Dr Rosalind Hastings, FRCPath, is the Scheme Co-ordinator for CEQA. As the work package leader for Cytogenetic EQA under the Eurogentest Network, she has been involved in setting up CEQA. Dr Hastings is also the chair of the ESHG Quality Committee.
Deputy Scheme Co-ordinator
Dr Marta Rodriguez de Alba is the Deputy Scheme Co-ordinator. She works as a senior clinical geneticist and is based at the Fundación Jiménez Díaz in Madrid. She is an expert of the scientific committee of Orphanet España.
Quality Manager
Bettina Quellhorst-Pawley has a background in process management and, as the Quality Manager for CEQA, is responsible for the Quality Management System including management reviews, audits, participants’ feedback and other quality related issues.
Assessors
The panel of expert assessors is composed of European EQA providers as well as invited experts in relevant cytogenetic fields. The assessors are responsible for examining and assessing technical, analytical and interpretative performance.
National Representatives
CEQA has a network of National representatives throughout Europe. These representatives will disseminate general information about CEQA and act as a point of contact for participants and laboratories interested in CEQA in their country.
